LinkedIn rewarded Fonecta again
LinkedIn awarded Fonecta at international partner competition for the fifth year in a row – LinkedIn advertising by Finnish B2B companies has grown tremendously.
Fonecta won two awards in the LinkedIn Marketing Partner Awards on March 4, 2021. As Finland's only official LinkedIn Marketing Solutions partner, Fonecta has now earned recognitions five times in a row. LinkedIn advertising by Finnish companies has been growing significantly over the past year.
Fonecta was rewarded the Customer Value and In It Together awards at the annual LinkedIn Marketing Partner Awards for EMEA & LATAM. The company was the only one of the 17 different country partners to be awarded two prizes. Fonecta has been Finland's official LinkedIn Marketing Solutions country partner since 2016 and has been recognized in the partner competition every year since the beginning of the partnership.
According to LinkedIn, Fonecta earned the In It Together Award in acknowledgement of its exceptional collaboration with the marketing analytics platform company Adverity, which will benefit the entire LinkedIn community.
“Together with Adverity, we have succeeded in developing reporting and processes as well as solving challenges that other partners also face. We have openly shared these successes and benefits with our LinkedIn country partners,” says Markus Rintala, Digital Strategist at Fonecta.
The Customer Value Award is given to a partner who has provided special customer value to their customers and resolved challenges in a way that is relevant to them.
“After the corona pandemic began, customers and media offices turned to us for advice. Our aim was to form a systematic way to meet with customers remotely and create a sense of security for them in an uncertain world situation,” describes Emmi Mikkola, LinkedIn Relationship Manager at Fonecta.
“The training program has helped in supporting the success of Finnish companies, especially with the aid of LinkedIn tools. Our goal is to build a LinkedIn community in Finland, where companies get the greatest possible common benefit from the channel. It’s wonderful that this has borne fruit,” Emmi rejoices.
Focus of the future in securing user data
LinkedIn advertising has grown faster in Finland compared to many other European countries and the pandemic has accelerated the growth. This can be seen especially in the marketing investments of big B2B companies, as they have noticed how effective LinkedIn is in reaching the relevant target audience around the world.
“Interest in LinkedIn has clearly increased, and a shift from small experimentation to a much more holistic approach can be seen. LinkedIn is no longer just a channel aimed at creating employer image, but has been integrated into the advertising strategy of large companies,” Emmi says.
According to Emmi, the focus of the near future will be on securing user data. LinkedIn invests particularly in the development of privacy and data processing. There will also be more opportunities to reach the user. LinkedIn recently released the Event Ad feature and new advertising formats – such as Stories Ad and Documents Ad – will be released in the spring and later in the year.
In Finland, LinkedIn has 1.4 million and worldwide more than 722 million users.
